I want to know what each one brings to the table and how easy they are to learn, and what kind of value they have for their prices. I do not want to waste money on a terrain generator I don’t end up liking. But there aren’t any real direct comparisons to any of them on YouTube, and I want to know which one is the best in terms of ease of use and feature set. I see the most popular ones being World Creator 2 and World Machine, but I have heard QuadSpinner Gaea is also decent. They are useful for adjust terrain when placing different props in the world, but thats about it. After many hours watching different videos, I’ve decided I want to invest in a third party software for terrain generation, as I don’t like the tools in unreal for building out a full terrain from scratch. So, I’m trying to learn world design, and I figured I’d do research online. Suggested naming conventions, collaboration tips, common pipeline struggles and solutions.
